WHEW! What a fun filled weekend Lovie and I had! Friday night we started out at Tsunami’s in Baton Rouge with friends that I went to high school with and their spouses. The food and conversation was wonderful! We had seen them in June at my 25th high school reunion, but really didn’t get the chance to “talk”. We laughed, ate some wonderful sushi and caught up, I couldn’t have asked for a better dinner.
After dinner we headed over to one of our local casino’s to see another friend we went to school with, she’s the lead singer for a local band...Stormy the Band She didn’t make it to our reunion in June, so I got on Face Book and rounded up some friends to surprise her, brought a mini reunion to her! It was a great turn out and she was so happy and enjoyed it! LOVE YA DJ!
We danced the night away, joked, laughed and just enjoyed one another so much! Of course it was more girlie’s bogging than the men! HA
DJ (the lead singer) was able to come and visit with everyone between sets and during breaks...After the show we all hung around and had a great visit with her...Everyone had a blast...Thanx Stormy for raisin’ the rook for the Class of CHS 85!
Sunday Lovie and I celebrated my Pookie’s 2nd birthday! Can you believe he is two already! He has grown into such a handsome lil man! He loves his little sister Lil Princess so much, he is gonna be a wonderful big brother to her!
His birthday theme was Mickey! YAY! I loved that! TEE HEE Lovie and I gave him a “big boy bike” CHECK IT OUT!

It is a packing week for me...SO ready to get to New Orleans and get on that jet! WooT I want a Mickey ice cream! I want ride Soarin! Oh I just want do it all! I know it’s gonna be hot, but I’m going to try to put that to the back of my mind! (wish me luck! HA) All Lovie is thinking about is those STANKY turkey leg! Hope your weekend was wonderful, filled with friends and loved ones, as mine was, nothing compares to those thing in life...Peace & Love!
